This valve has a tighter thread pitch (as well as a larger outside diameter) than the other "standard sized" thread valves out there, so it may only be used with La Pavoni equipment. The outside diameter of this valve measures 22 mm, where most standard valves (3/8") measure only 11 mm O.D.
