This pillow is made from an antique coverlet, circa 1850s-1880s. Coverlets were woven bed covers popular in the 19th century, made by certain weavers who specialized in the style. Customers would bring in their own wool, select the pattern they wanted, and wait for the weaver to produce the blanket. The Bode logo is embroidered in one corner.
